The “Viaggio in Bergmania!” (Working title, literary, A Journey to Bergmanland) is a documentary project based on an academic research held at Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 University under the supervision of the leading Bergman scholar, Jacques Aumont.

The discovery of the native geography of Bergman, the director who has the biggest influence of us, gave us the autobiographical aspect of this film of a pure intellectual pilgrimage.

The film has been realized with the gracious support of Swedish Consulate of Istanbul and Baltic Centre for Writers and Translators in Visby, Sweden. The film is on the the editing table now. We have 26 hours of footage shot in Stockholm, Uppsala, Dalarna, Gotland and in the legendary island of Bergman, Fårö.
